Transport Manager - Ipswich

Salary Circ £45-50K + benefits + bonus

Hours 8am – 5pm

Run the operation. Lead the team. Own the outcome.

We're looking for a hands-on Transport Manager to take full ownership of our transport function and join the site leadership team. You'll run a nationwide operation of 60+ vehicles, manage an office team of 5, and have real influence over a business-critical part of the company.

The role

  • Running daily transport operations, hitting service, cost and compliance targets
  • Leading, coaching and developing your office team and driver workforce
  • Keeping the fleet maintained, legal and compliant with O-Licence standards via approved service providers
  • Tracking performance, solving problems in real time and driving improvement
  • Acting as a key voice in the site leadership team
