We’re looking for an experienced Transport Manager to join us in this exciting new role. About the role
- Manage daily outbound volumes
- Oversee a fleet of 30 vehicles, plus external hauliers
- Coordinate and optimise:
- Route planning and scheduling
- Subcontractor usage
- Pallet network and parcel distribution
- Ensure compliance with all CPC and transport regulations
- Monitor and improve delivery performance, cost control, & service levels
- Support operations across a secondary site in the West Midlands
- Identify and implement improvements across transport and logistics processes

About you
- Hold a valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Proven experience in a Transport Manager, Senior Planner, and/or Fleet Manager roles
- Strong background managing mixed fleet operations (own vehicles & subcontractors)
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance service levels
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership ability
