Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking to lead a busy customer-focused operation? Can you drive performance, compliance and continuous improvement across a transport team? Do you have the leadership skills to develop people and deliver outstanding service?

Join GXO as a Transport Manager and take ownership of a busy, customer-focused transport operation supporting our Costa site in Wellingborough. Leading a team of transport professionals, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, compliant and cost-effective transport services while maintaining excellent customer relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced transport leader who enjoys developing people, driving performance and creating a culture of continuous improvement within a fast-paced logistics environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 with some flexibility required.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Lead the day-to-day transport, ensuring service, safety and compliance targets are achieved
  • Manage and develop your team, setting clear objectives and driving high performance
  • Monitor transport KPIs, budgets and cost, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Build strong relationships with Costa and key site stakeholders to deliver outstanding service
  • Drive continuous improvement across the operation, with a strong focus on health & safety and compliance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous transport Management experience within a fast-paced logistics operation
  • A full International CPC qualification and strong knowledge of transport legislation
  • A proactive leadership style with the ability to develop, motivate and engage teams
  • Experience managing KPIs, budgets and continuous improvement initiatives
