Transport Manager (Compliance)
Are you a driven transport professional with a strong focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence? We are looking for a Transport Manager to take ownership of ensuring our transport operations meet all regulatory, legal and company requirements, while driving performance and continuous improvement across the function.
Reporting to the Head of Fleet UK, you will play a key role in promoting a culture of compliance, safety and accountability, ensuring that all transport policies, procedures and legislative requirements are fully understood and consistently applied across the operation.
In this role, you will oversee fleet compliance and utilisation, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained, documented and audit-ready in line with Operator Licence standards. You'll work closely with Transport Shift Managers, training teams and senior leadership to review daily transport plans, improve performance against KPIs and SLAs, and implement corrective actions where needed.
You will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers and airport authorities, ensuring full compliance with all relevant by-laws and Department for Transport regulations. Alongside this, you'll lead on health & safety, managing incident investigations, promoting safe working practices and fostering a proactive, safety-first culture across teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
