Hovis Avonmouth is looking for a hands-on Transport Manager to lead our busy transport operation and keep our iconic products moving safely and efficiently across the region.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and supporting our team of drivers and shift managers
- Ensuring legal compliance & safety standards (including O-Licence responsibilities)
- Keeping the fleet operation efficient, on-time and cost-effective
- Monitoring KPIs and improving performance across the transport team
- Working with planning, production and customer teams to keep everything moving
- Promoting a positive safety culture, leading by example
What we’re looking for:
- Strong transport or logistics background (HGV experience a real advantage)
- Experience leading a team – Must have experience building and nurturing relationships with drivers
- Good understanding of compliance, safety and transport regulations
- A calm, practical, “get things done” approach
- Someone comfortable working in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- CPC in Road Haulage (essential)
