Job Description
Responsibilities
Leadership and management of the team, relationship with NHS managers and customers, including GP surgeries and private sector suppliers. Oversight of East Surrey (SASH) and Guildford depots.
BSPS transport service. To include playing a full role in the corporate leadership of the BSPS transport service. To cover the duties of the Head and Deputy Head of Transport in their absence.
- To lead a team of 1 lead driver/manager at East Surrey Hospital Trust and support them in managing 25 staff on a day-to-day basis; ensuring the effective organisation and provision of transport services.
- To oversee the Transport Depot consisting of 5 drivers at Royal Surrey Foundation Trust Guildford.

Our Trust provides both emergency and planned healthcare across East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon – covering towns like Crawley, Horsham, Reigate, and Redhill. Our main hospital, East Surrey in Redhill, offers a full range of acute and specialist services and is also the closest trauma unit to Gatwick Airport. We also provide outpatient, diagnostic, and planned care services at sites including The Earlswood Centre, Caterham Dene Hospital, Oxted Health Centre, Crawley Hospital, and Horsham Hospital.
