Transport Network Manager
Location: Gotham, Nottinghamshire (with UK travel)

At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we're looking for a Transport Network Manager to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team, leading the strategy and performance of one of the UK's largest outsourced transport operations.
This is a highly influential leadership opportunity where you'll shape the future of our national distribution network, ensuring it is safe, resilient, commercially effective and capable of supporting the changing needs of our customers and business.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external transport partners, you'll lead the delivery of an £80m transport operation whilst driving continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability across our network.
Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions is part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland, a global leader in light and sustainable construction. Our business brings together some of the UK's best-known interior building solutions, helping create comfortable, sustainable spaces where people live, work and learn.
This role requires regular travel to our Gotham Distribution Centre and other UK locations as required.
What we're looking for
- Significant leadership experience within transport, logistics or distribution, ideally managing large outsourced haulage operations.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing high-value budgets, supplier relationships and open-book contracts.
- A strategic leader who can influence stakeholders, challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement across a national network.
- Excellent knowledge of transport compliance, health & safety legislation and a genuine commitment to creating a Zero Harm culture.
- Someone who is comfortable using operational and financial data to make informed decisions, optimise network performance and deliver exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing
- Support in the delivery of the long-term strategy for our national transport network, ensuring it remains safe, efficient, cost-effective and fit for future business growth.
- Lead the performance of our outsourced transport providers, building collaborative partnerships that deliver outstanding operational and commercial results.
- Manage an annual transport budget of approximately £80 million, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and maximise value.
- Champion innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement, including fleet modernisation and new ways of working that enhance service and operational performance.
- Lead, coach and develop your team while deputising for the Head of Transport in internal and external meetings, representing Saint-Gobain with customers, suppliers and industry partners.
