Transport Office Administrator
Location: Alcester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Transport Office Administrator to join our busy transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the transport office team.
- Processing and filing transport documentation accurately.
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and suppliers regarding deliveries and collections.
- Updating transport management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails professionally.
- Assisting with route planning and scheduling where required.
- Monitoring vehicle and driver paperwork to ensure compliance.
- Producing reports and maintaining transport office filing systems.
- Supporting the Transport Manager with day-to-day operational tasks.

Requirements
- Previous administration experience, preferably within a transport or logistics environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
