Do you enjoy keeping things moving and ensuring transport operations run smoothly behind the scenes? Are you motivated by solving problems, coordinating activities and helping deliver excellent service to customers every day?
At Samworth Brothers, efficient transport operations are vital to ensuring products reach customers safely, on time and in full. As a Transport Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of transport activities, helping drivers, planners and operational teams work together effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day transport activities and operational requirements
- Assist drivers and operational teams with transport-related queries
- Monitor transport schedules and help manage operational changes
- Maintain accurate transport records, documentation and system information
- Communicate effectively with drivers, planners, customers and colleagues
- Ensure delivery performance monitoring and service reporting
- Assist with route updates, delivery changes and customer requests
- Ensure transport information is updated accurately within operational systems

- Experience within transport, logistics, customer service or operational support environments
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Confident working with operational systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
