Transport Operator
Are you an experienced Transport Operator or worked in a similar role looking for your next challenge with a thriving logistics business?
We are looking for a Transport Operator to join a busy, fast-paced transport team responsible for coordinating container movements across the UK. This is an opportunity to become part of a supportive and experienced team where no two days are the same.

What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and coordinating daily HGV driver schedules
- Ensuring container deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
- Managing real-time operational challenges and providing solutions when plans change
- Acting as a key point of contact for drivers, customers and internal stakeholders
- Building strong relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service
- Working closely with the wider transport team to maintain high service levels and achieve operational targets

Shift Patterns Available
Nights (Monday to Friday)
- 4:00pm - 2:00am
- 6:00pm - 4:00am
- 9:00pm - 7:00am
Additional payment available for Sunday working.
Days (Monday to Friday)
- 6:00am - 4:00pm
- 8:00am - 6:00pm
- 1 in 4 Saturdays required
- Occasional Sundays required for holiday and sickness cover

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within Transport Planning, Transport Operations or Logistics Coordination
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience coordinating drivers, vehicles or transport movements
