Transport Operator (Nights) – Northampton (NN4 5FB) – Sunday to Thursday
We’re looking for an experienced Transport Operator to join our night team at our Grange Park site in Northampton. If you enjoy a quieter shift, more autonomy and being part of a supportive transport operation, this role could be ideal.
Shift & Hours
- Sunday to Thursday
- 22:00 – 06:30
- Stable night pattern with no rotating shifts
Pay
- £29,536.38 + £1,872 night shift allowance

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be coordinating deliveries and collections from our Northampton site, ensuring drivers have everything they need to complete their routes safely and on time.
Your night shift will include:
- Planning and updating routes
- Briefing and debriefing drivers
- Managing any issues that arise and keeping the operation running smoothly
- Recording abnormalities and updating paperwork
- Ensuring compliance with WTD, EU regs and site procedures

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Transport Operator / Transport Planner role
- Strong route planning skills
- Knowledge of WTD, EU Driver Regulations and fleet procedures
- Calm under pressure and able to adapt quickly
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
