Pay Rate: £30,237

Grade: O

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, Rotating, 0600 - 1400, 0700 - 1500 & 1300 - 2100.

Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4

We're now looking for a Transport Planner to assist with the delivery of efficient and cost-effective network transport plans.

A Typical Day May Involve

  • Create routes and allocate vehicles, alongside Driver resources to meet planning deadlines.
  • Maintain KPI's and SLA's.
  • Liaise with Stores on a regular basis.
  • Build Relationships through Customer Service.
  • Customer contact point and communications.
  • Ensure that work instructions and standard operating procedures are followed and check lists adhered to.

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Transport planning experience desired.
  • Transport experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer Literacy, including Excel.
  • Experience using Paragon (Desirable).
  • Good critical thinking skills.
  • Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally.
