Transport Planner (Consultancy)
£53,000 - £63,000 + Bonuses + 33 Days Holiday + Healthcare + Progression + Additional Company Benefits
You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Durham, South Shields, Gateshead, Washington. Other locations also considered.
Do you have previous experience as a Transport Planner within a consultancy or similar, and are you looking for a role where you can lead transport projects, mentor a team and keep progressing and developing within your career?
In this role you will oversee and manage the transport planning process across a range of development projects within a company well known for their excellent benefits package.

This company is a leading consultancy offering an integrated approach to Transport Planning and Highways Design, with a strong track record on high-profile projects. Due to continued investment and ambitious growth plans they are now looking to further expand head count.
This role would suit a Transport Planner looking to move into a principal-level role with a long term permanent position.
The Role:
Working as a Principal Transport Planner on projects across; highways, civils, drainage, infrastructure and more.
Further duties of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Site visits
- Survey design
- Technical data and drawings
- Team management
- Client liaison
- Feasibility advice on Highways & Transport matters
- Documentation and much more

The Person:
- Previous experience as a Transport Planner
- Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil’s or similar.
- Ideally have previous experience with one or more of the following; ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG or similar
- Looking for a long-term permanent position offering further training and progression
