Transport Planner
Location: Seaham
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring the efficient scheduling, dispatch, and delivery of goods to meet customer and business requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to manage haulage, shipping activities, and transport documentation.
- Monitor transport performance, allocating vehicles, drivers, and routes effectively while resolving delays, issues, and customer queries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company standards, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience within transport planning, logistics, or a similar operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of HGV regulations, road transport legislation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS); knowledge of Webfleet would be advantageous.
