London Rangers Youth & Community is seeking an experienced Transport Planning or Highways Consultant to advise on access, traffic, parking and sustainable travel for our proposed community sports and education development at Evershed Sports Ground in West London.
What difference will you make?
Good transport planning will be essential to creating a community sports facility that works effectively for both its users and its neighbours.
- Your expertise will help us understand how people are likely to travel to the site and ensure that traffic, parking, pedestrian safety and access are considered as part of the design rather than after the plans have been completed.
- You will help our architect and project team develop a masterplan that makes the best use of the available space while encouraging walking, cycling and public transport wherever practical.
- Your advice could also help us develop solutions for match days and periods of higher usage, reducing potential parking or traffic impacts on neighbouring residential streets.
- Early professional input will help us identify potential planning concerns, avoid expensive redesigns and understand what technical transport evidence may be required to support our planning application.
- Ultimately, your contribution will help us create an accessible, sustainable and well-managed sports and education hub serving young people, grassroots sport and the wider West London community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
