As a Transport Security Guard, you’ll be responsible for supporting the safe and secure transportation of individuals in a controlled environment. You’ll develop valuable experience in secure vehicle operations, escort procedures, communication, incident response, de-escalation, emergency procedures, and detailed report writing.

Responsibilities for Transport Security Guard
- Safely transport and escort individuals between designated facilities and locations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and security checks.
- Search individuals, luggage, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures.
- Transport and safeguard personal belongings, luggage, valuables, and other authorized property.
- Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and changing situations during transportation.
- Complete detailed logs, documentation, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and facility personnel.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security, and operational readiness.
- Follow all established security, transportation, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable transportation and highway safety requirements.
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach in all interactions.
- Perform other duties related to secure transportation and security operations as required.

Qualifications for Transport Security Guard
- Valid BC Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid Level 1 (OFA1) - an asset
- Advanced Security Training (AST) – an asset
- Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years
- Unrestricted Class 4 BC Drivers License
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- High school diploma or Canadian equivalent (proof of education required)
- Able to pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication and customer service skills
