About Romac Logistics
At Romac Logistics, people are at the heart of our success. Operating across a nationwide logistics network, we pride ourselves on delivering a reliable and responsive service to our customers while creating an environment where our people can perform at their best.
As our network continues to grow, we are strengthening our central customer service function in Chesterfield with a dedicated team providing 24/7 visibility and support across our UK transport operations.
We are looking for Customer Service & Network Coordinators to join our new 24/7 team based at our Chesterfield office.
This is a fast-paced, operational customer service role with real ownership and accountability. You will be responsible for maintaining visibility of vehicles and drivers operating across our network throughout England and Scotland, proactively tracking deliveries and ensuring customers and internal teams receive accurate and timely information.
Rather than simply reacting when a delivery is already late, we want the team to identify potential service failures before they happen.
You will monitor vehicle progress, identify delays or potential late arrivals at the earliest opportunity and communicate proactively with customers, drivers and transport teams. Providing customers with advance notice, accurate ETAs and regular updates will be a key part of the role.
You will become a central point of communication between our drivers, transport operations and customers, helping ensure everyone has clear and accurate information throughout the delivery journey.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
