As a Transport Solutions Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering specialised transport services. This includes transport for education, adult and children social care, respite short breaks and other passenger transport as required by the varied services provided by Nottinghamshire County Council. Your solutions will support both internal and external clients, ensuring everyone receives the care they need.
In This Role, You Will
- Engage directly with clients and suppliers, providing exceptional customer care.
- Make decisions and solve problems to meet operational targets while prioritising available resources.
- Maintain accurate financial and client information, creating reports as needed.
- Seek improvements in services and outcomes for customers, identifying potential savings through efficient procurement.
- Ensure compliance with National and County Council safeguarding and child protection measures.

To Succeed As a Transport Solutions Assistant, You Should
- Have a good standard of education, ideally with qualifications at GCE A Level or equivalent.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Have strong analytical skills and familiarity with transport solutions and practices.
- Be proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Have successfully worked as part of a team.
