Transport Solutions Executive
Salary: Up to £37,500 basic salary, £80,000 OTE with uncapped commission, plus a company car.
Location: Cambridgeshire, with regular travel across the region

About the Role
As a Transport Solutions Executive, you will take ownership of a well-established Cambridgeshire territory, with an existing customer base and established relationships to build on.
You will grow revenue and market share by developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and selling Volvo Trucks complete product and service offering, from our latest electric and gas vehicles to digital services, telematics, maintenance and financial solutions. Using a Total Solutions approach, you will create tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and build long-term partnerships.

Who are you?
You bring experience in high-value B2B sales, ideally within heavy commercial vehicles, automotive or a capital equipment environment.
You will also bring:
- A genuine desire to sell, with the drive, energy and resilience to achieve and exceed targets while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to earn trust, influence and negotiate effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively across the business, bringing people together to solve problems and achieve shared goals.
- Confident using business systems and digital tools to manage customer relationships, monitor performance and support commercial decision making.
- Curious and keen to learn, with genuine motivation for our products, our customers and our purpose.
- High standards of integrity and accountability, taking ownership of decisions and actions while consistently working in line with Volvo's values.
- Full UK driving Licence.
What you will do
- Grow existing accounts while proactively identifying and winning new business opportunities, using a consultative approach to understand customer needs and develop the right transport solutions.
- Use CRM and business systems effectively to manage your pipeline, track opportunities and maintain strong visibility of customer activity, ensuring a consistent and high quality customer experience.
- Develop accurate and timely commercial proposals and quotations, using strong commercial judgement to maximise profitability, manage costs and mitigate credit risk.
- Coordinate suppliers linked to customer contracts, ensuring consistent performance and alignment.
- Achieve agreed volume and gross profit targets, individually and as part of the wider team.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements that enhance customer outcomes and commercial performance.
- Represent Volvo at customer meetings and events as required.
- Collaborate across the Volvo business, sharing customer insight and opportunities to strengthen relationships and maximise regional performance.
