We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Fleet Supervisor to be based at Hatfield alongside our customer Arla.

You will be working Sunday – Thursday 08:00-16:00

Pay, Benefits And More

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

  • Review VOR lists every AM and PM, challenge any vehicle in VMU for more than 2 days.
  • Provide reliable daily and weekly VOR KPIs.
  • Manage fleet damage repairs with bodyshop’s and suppliers.
  • Undertake regular spot condition inspections.
  • Establish fleet required for peaks and book, arrange delivery and off hire in the most efficient manner.

Compliance

  • Ensure that all vehicles are operated on the road “In service”.
  • Ensure MOT pass rate is 100%.
  • Report any Failures to the Fleet engineer and fleet manager.
  • Provide an internal audit of all vehicle compliance processes.
  • Ensure defect process is being correctly followed.
  • Oversee Admin in ensuring all vehicles files are maintained.
  • Brief management team of any new regulations regarding vehicles, maintenance etc.

Additional

  • Produce daily 08.00 and 16.00 accurate and complete VOR reports.
  • Proactively chase suppliers of VOR equipment, especially tail lift and fridges, record conversations and advise Transport management of long-term issues and potential costs.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

  • Good administrative skills.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook.
