Ready for a change? Looking for a role that you can develop into? Are you a hands-on Transport Supervisor ready for your big break? We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to be based at our site in Norwich, to support our ASHI (Anglian Safestyle Home Improvements) contract.

- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum.
- In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Responsibility for the management of customer stock from receipt to final last mile delivery.
- Working within site KPI’s in line with customer SLA.
- Ensure all colleagues are appropriately inducted in quality, health, safety, and environment matters and any risks in the specific area of working practice, before commencing work.
- Provide leadership and direction to the site.
- Proactively plan and engage with the customer to ensure a collaborative approach and effective resolution of issues.
- Be the point of escalation for Transport issues.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Create and drive a culture of continuous improvement and lead process improvement activities.
- Manage resources to maximise service and efficiencies.
- Carry out Investigations and Disciplinaries as and when required.
- Ensure systems are updated to maximise revenue.
- Coach and manage all staff relevant to transport operation, Drivers, Shunters, and Admin.
- Responsible for all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental procedures, ensuring that they are always followed, challenging non-conformances.
- Create and maintain a culture where Health and Safety is priority.
- Monitor individual performance through the PDR and 1-2-1 programme.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- It’s important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet.
- Previous experience supervising and developing a team within a transport environment is preferred.
- Every day you’ll need to have an eye on continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and fleet performance - do you have a track record of improving things?
