We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to be based at Preston Brook, Runcorn alongside our customer Saint Gobain Interior Solutions.
This role would be working on a 2 Week rotation:
- Week 1 - Monday - Friday 06:00-14:30
- Week 2 Monday - Thursday 13:30-22:00
- Friday 11:30-20:00
Pay, Benefits And More
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,800. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- Coordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations
- Work closely with the onsite customer ensuring all operational requirements are met.
- Maintain a health and safety presence on site and challenge noncompliance.
- Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner
- Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner
- Continually look to improve the service we provide offering ideas and recommendations as necessary.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Good administrative skills
- Have a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills – you’ll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
