The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to manage our transport operation at our manufacturing site, ensuring the safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of packaging solutions to our customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing daily transport planning, routing, load fill, and fleet optimization
  • Driver debrief, supervising, holiday/absence cover, on-road issues
  • Arranging couriers/third parties
  • Adherence to O Licence rules and compliance
  • Organising vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborating with other departments, e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Design, Planning, and Production
  • Reports, Admin, Record keeping

What We're Looking For

  • Proven transport management experience within a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment
  • Strong knowledge of HGV operations, driver hours, and transport compliance
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across the business
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • CPC in Transport Management is desirable but not essential
  • Planning - forward thinking
  • Organised with attention to detail
  • Good geographical knowledge
