Transport Supervisor – Nights

Help keep our transport operation moving.
We’re looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our night operation at Evri Premium.
You’ll support the day-to-day running of the transport operation, working closely with our drivers and wider operational teams to ensure everything runs safely, legally and on time.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating drivers and vehicles, monitoring transport activity throughout the shift and responding quickly when issues arise.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and supporting drivers throughout the shift
- Briefing and debriefing drivers and ensuring they have the information they need
- Coordinating vehicle and trailer allocation across the operation
- Monitoring routes, departures and arrivals and responding to live operational issues
- Ensuring driver hours, tachographs and Working Time requirements are managed correctly
- Managing vehicle defects, accidents and other transport-related issues
- Using transport systems and telematics to monitor activity and performance
- Working closely with warehouse, planning and operational teams to keep the operation running smoothly
- Monitoring KPIs and identifying the root cause of performance issues
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and transport compliance
- Supporting the wider management team and deputising where required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working within a transport, logistics or traffic office environment, ideally with experience supervising or supporting drivers.
- Understanding of transport compliance, including drivers’ hours and Working Time requirements, and be comfortable using transport systems, telematics and performance data.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions and prioritise effectively in a busy, fast-moving operation.
- Experience using systems such as Isotrak, Ortec or Tachomaster, or similar transport systems, would be beneficial.
- CPC would be desirable.
