We are looking for a talented Transport Team Leader to join our team specialising in Logistics for our Transportation Department in Daventry, United Kingdom.
Working hours: Monday – Friday, weekly rotating shift: 7:00am–3:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage a team of 16 people while strengthening cross-functional collaboration by coordinating activities between shifts, support teams, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Coach and develop team members through mentorship, clear communication, and ongoing skills development to build a capable, engaged, and high-performing team.
- Oversee export and inbound shipping processes, including booking equipment, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Ensure adherence to SOX, trade compliance, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail across all operational activities, ensuring accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and analyse KPI reports, documents, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Attend and contribute to key stakeholder meetings, facilitating effective communication between senior management, internal teams, and external partners.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and overall performance.
