Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours per week, flexibility required to meet operational needs)

🔎 About the Role
The transport trainer is responsible for delivering mandatory training programmes to employees across DHL Hubs & Gateways, ensuring colleagues have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform their roles safely and effectively. The role focuses on delivering a range of transport, operational, equipment, and compliance-related training, while monitoring progress and providing coaching and support where required. Working closely with employees and stakeholders, the successful candidate will support colleague development, promote DHL's values, and ensure learning objectives are achieved through engaging and high-quality training delivery. There may also be opportunities to travel, both within the UK and internationally, to support wider DHL training requirements and personal development opportunities.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing
- Challenging fixed mindsets within the business and correcting complacency and poor standards
- Understand the importance of the learning for the participants and how it relates back to the workplace
- Promote and support diversity, equality and inclusion across all avenues of the role
- Ensure training resources are well maintained and fit for use
- Prepare, organise & replenish materials and equipment
- Deliver mandatory training to all staff in conformity with regulations and network standards, supporting delivery of CIS training
- Meeting all training requirements
- Create training schedule around business needs with flexibility to add courses when required
- Prioritise and plan time around training schedule
- Recording training using databases and spreadsheets, ensuring compliance to business standards
- Creating training improvement plans
- Delivery of adhoc training courses
- Design and maintain training material for DHL training events
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training carried out for DHL Employees
- All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities
- Deliver ongoing assessment to ensure standards are kept
- Flexibility to work differing shift times and days alongside the operational requirements in all weather conditions.

⭐ What You’ll Bring
- Practical experience of forklift operations (Required)
- 6+ months airside driving experience (Required)
- 1 year instructor training delivery experience (Desirable)
- GCSE English A-C.
- Level 3 Award in Training (or equivalent) (Desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- LHR Airside Driving Permit (Desirable)
- Lift Truck Instructor (Desirable)
- Class 2 Cat C licence (Desirable)
