Sites included in the cluster MME1, MME2, NCL1 and NCL2.
The EU Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team is looking for TAP Drivers with strong ownership and collaboration skills who is committed to ensuring the safe and on-time delivery of our customers’ goods.
Key job responsibilities
- Adhere to company rules and regulations and make safety a priority at all times
- Operate HGVs in yard to move trailers to/from dock and parking locations and over public roads as required while staying on predetermined routes and using approved equipment and technology
- Comply with professional driver regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, violation and incident reporting requirements, working hours and break periods, etc.)
- Refuel vehicle and complete driver vehicle inspection reports on equipment and notify managers of any maintenance or delivery issues encountered
- Follow delivery schedule, track and report working hours and breaks at appropriate times, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions
- Work at locations within a geographic area on an as needed basis to support the business, 40 hours/week and overtime as required
- Drive, manoeuvre, and load/unload a HGV using approved equipment (pallet jack, etc.), with or without reasonable adjustments (if applicable)
- Ability to follow and enforce safety measures and policies to all who enter the yard, including vendors and senior team members

A day in the life
TAP drivers are vital members of ATS and play a crucial role in helping Amazon delight our customers. You will be responsible for safely operating heavy goods vehicles (HGV) as assigned to perform trailer moves in Amazon yards and over public roads across multiple site types. Drivers will operate scheduled shifts.
About the team
EU Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a high-powered dynamic team which is shaping middle-mile planning and execution, and developing and applying innovative transportation management concepts to improve and enhance the Amazon Transportation network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner, every time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Work at different site locations within the Node
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Active Class B Driver’s License
- Able to obtain a HGV Driver’s license category C+E and Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and additional driving/equipment certifications as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) category C+E Driving License
- Active Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)
- Previous experience in TOM/Inhouse shunting
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holiday
