Container Transport Operator
Location: Ipswich
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable
Fryers Transport Ltd is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Container Transport Operator to join our transport team. You will be responsible for collecting and delivering shipping containers between ports, depots, warehouses, and customer sites while providing professional, dependable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with Drivers, provide clear instructions
- Complete port, VBS
- Attention to detail, updating our transport system (Truckcom)
- Operate/route vehicles in a safe manner for profit whilst being compliant with Drivers hours/Working time directive
- Communicate effectively with operations staff, customers, and depot personnel
- Follow all company procedures and transport regulations

Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft
- Good IT skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Good knowledge of ports and container depots
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
- Availability for [early starts, weekends, or shift work, if applicable]
