About the Role

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination and optimisation of all transport activities within Panthera including the groups all fleet for FORS compliance.

The role ensures that Panthera's own HIAB’s, general fleet and externally hired transport are utilised efficiently, safely and cost-effectively, enabling materials and equipment to be delivered and collected on time whilst supporting excellent customer service.

As Panthera continues to grow, this position will become the central coordination point between Operations, Warehouse, Yard and Transport Providers, ensuring transport capacity keeps pace with increasing project demands.

The role is critical in maintaining FORS Silver approval, operational efficiency, reducing transport costs and ensuring projects are delivered safely and on schedule.

About You

Person specification and key skills

Essential

  • Previous experience coordinating transport.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.

Desirable

  • Construction industry experience.
  • Experience coordinating HIAB vehicles.
  • Knowledge of temporary works or construction logistics.
  • Experience with fleet management software.
  • Understanding of transport legislation.
