Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a proactive and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our NHS Supply Chain contract based in Maidstone. You’ll take charge of our late shift operations, ensuring compliance, cost control, and exceptional service delivery.
The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll be working Monday to Thursday, covering the hours of 14:00 till 22:00 and Friday, covering the hours of 11:00 till 19:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Full responsibility for keeping your team in line with Audit Compliance relating to the site’s Tacho and Drivers Hours compliance
- Manage cost and service in line with agreed Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure quality standards are maintained in line with OTIF measures
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Communicate, apply, and enforce company policies
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Legal compliance: understanding of legislative regulations and / or standards
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in transport
- Experience operating with Agency providers and Carriers
- International CPC holder (preferable)
