Travel Administration/ Operations Executive up to £28k plus extras
We have an exceptional opportunity for someone ideally with travel industry experience to join our friendly administration / operations team based in Central London.
Travel Operations Executive Job specification
- Efficiently executing administration tasks and processes within Kirker Holidays.
- Thoroughly checking all aspects of the invoice ensuring that every detail is correct.
- All communications to hotels and ground agents is requested and accurate.
- Making sure that all airline tickets have been booked correctly and correspond to the booking details.
- Liaise with the reservations team on errors and queries arising from the checking procedure.
- Writing and preparing the final travel itinerary of a client's holiday.
- Support the Kirker Concierge and book ‘Kirker Extras’ such as museum entrance tickets, walking tours etc.

Support and cover for the Operations team including ensuring the contents of the Kirker wallets are produced and compiled in an accurate and timely manner.
- Running rail reports, reviewing content and booking rail tickets as appropriate.
- Entering Advanced Passenger Information (API) onto Darwin (our reservations system).
- Chasing and re-confirming hotel confirmations.
- Logging and dispatching of Brochure requests.
- Re-confirming hotel confirmations and liaising with hotels accordingly.

Travel Operations Executive Personal skills
- Precision and attention to detail.
- Experience of Amadeus (or similar GDS) is preferred but not essential as training can be given.
- Strong organization skills.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident.
- Ability to multi-task, thrive under pressure and be a good team player.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Customer focused with the ability to immediately resolve any issues.
- Ability to manage time effectively in order to arrange workload and prioritize key tasks.
- Excellent travel knowledge would be ideal but not essential.
