The Opportunity

Robosoft is building out its go-to-market capability across three strategic verticals, and travel and tourism represents one of the most compelling growth opportunities in our portfolio. With an existing client base spanning media, entertainment, and mobility, the adjacency into travel and tourism is natural, and the timing — driven in part by portfolio opportunities with Blackstone — is now. This role exists to define and lead that vertical: to bring the industry lens that turns general capability into a targeted, credible proposition for some of the world's most dynamic travel and hospitality organisations.

In practice, you will be the travel and tourism voice inside Robosoft's go-to-market strategy. That means building the vertical strategy, mapping the landscape of target accounts, and showing up to client conversations with genuine industry authority. You will work alongside the Client Strategy Lead, AI Lead, Design and Product Lead, and Technology and Solutioning Lead to assemble the right team for each opportunity, leading the industry dimension whilst they bring the capability depth.

This role is built for someone who has spent the better part of their career inside the travel and tourism industry — whether as an operator, a consultant, or both — and is ready to use that knowledge to build something. Robosoft offers real engineering depth and an AI-first capability behind whatever you put in front of a client. What it needs from you is the industry authority, the relationships, and the hunger to build a thriving vertical practice.

What You Will Do

Vertical Strategy and Market Development

  • Define Robosoft's travel and tourism go-to-market strategy, including target segments, key accounts, and competitive positioning.
  • Map the landscape of high-potential clients across airlines, OTAs, hospitality groups, and experience-led travel brands.
  • Identify growth opportunities where Robosoft's design-led engineering and AI-first capabilities create a differentiated proposition.
  • Develop and maintain a point of view on where digital transformation is heading in the vertical.

Client Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Lead the travel and tourism dimension of client conversations, bringing industry credibility and context to every engagement.
  • Build and maintain senior relationships with CTO, CDO, and VP Product leaders at target accounts.
  • Attend and represent Robosoft at key industry events, forums, and conferences across the US.
  • Work closely with the Sales Lead to prioritise the pipeline and qualify opportunities against the vertical strategy.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Assemble the right internal team for each client opportunity, working alongside the AI Lead, Design and Product Lead, and Technology and Solutioning Lead.
  • Contribute to proposal development by providing the industry framing, client context, and use case validation.
  • Brief internal teams on the specific dynamics, vocabulary, and priorities of travel and tourism clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Thought Leadership

  • Build Robosoft's authority in the travel and tourism vertical through content, partnerships, and speaking opportunities.
  • Translate industry trends and competitive dynamics into insights that inform go-to-market strategy.

Who You Are

  • Industry-deep: You have spent years inside the travel industry, as an operator, consultant, or both, and you understand what matters to digital and technology leaders at airlines, OTAs, and hospitality organisations. You bring context, not just commentary.
  • Commercially wired: You see client conversations as the start of a commercial relationship. You track which relationships lead to opportunities and manage your pipeline with the same discipline as a senior sales executive.
  • Builder mindset: You are comfortable operating without a full playbook. You can define the vertical strategy and then execute against it, shifting between big-picture thinking and the detail of a specific client conversation without losing momentum.
  • Collaborative by nature: You know when to bring in the AI lead, when to pull in design, and when the technology conversation needs to take over. You build teams around client needs, not around hierarchy.
  • Present and mobile: You understand that being in the room matters at the senior level. You travel at short notice, show up consistently, and treat geographic proximity to clients as a competitive advantage.

Leadership Expectations

  • Own the travel and tourism vertical P&L and pipeline, from first conversation through to closed engagement.
  • Define the vertical go-to-market strategy and represent it internally across sales, delivery, and executive leadership.
  • Build and nurture a network of senior client relationships that generate a sustainable pipeline of new and expansion business.
  • Shape Robosoft's positioning in travel and tourism, including thought leadership, conference presence, and industry partnerships.
  • Influence hiring decisions for vertical-specific roles as the practice grows.

What You Bring

Required Experience

  • 12 to 18 years of experience in travel and tourism, spanning industry operations (airline, OTA, or hospitality) and/or consulting or advisory roles focused on the vertical.
  • Proven track record of building senior client relationships and opening doors at CTO, CDO, or VP Product level within travel and hospitality organisations.
  • Experience shaping or executing a go-to-market or commercial strategy within a travel-focused context.
  • Demonstrable success in driving new business or account growth within the vertical.

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of digital product development in travel (booking platforms, loyalty programmes, and customer experience applications).
  • Understanding of how AI is being applied in travel and tourism, including personalisation, dynamic pricing, and operational efficiency. (good to have)
  • Familiarity with travel distribution technology and reservation systems in the sector. (good to have)
