Job Title: Travel and Tourism Sessional Lecturer
School / Area: Business: School of Creative Business & Service Industries
Salary: Up to £31.24, depending on your relevant experience and qualifications
FTE: 0.6, 3 days per week
Basis: Sessional

We are seeking a Travel and Tourism Teacher in, which will contribute to our Level 3 Travel Program.
The School of Creative Business & Services Industries is an exceptional place to work, with staff working collaboratively to ensure the very best outcomes for our students. The area also offers a close collaboration across all our business, IT and Travel courses, with direct progression to our Level 3 Travel Program in September.
Deliver Engaging Lessons
- Plan and teach high-quality lessons aligned with Level 3 Travel and Tourism curriculum, ensuring learners develop knowledge of the industry, customer service, and destination management.

Assess and Support Learners
- Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.
Maintain Industry Relevance and Compliance
- Keep teaching materials up to date with current travel and tourism trends, adhere to awarding body standards, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
The Travel and Tourism Level 3 Teacher will be responsible for delivering dynamic and interactive lessons that prepare learners for careers in the travel and tourism sector, whilst working alongside our already well-established travel L3 program. The role involves planning and assessing coursework, supporting students to achieve their qualifications, and maintaining a positive learning environment. The teacher will ensure that teaching reflects current industry practices and meets awarding body requirements, while promoting inclusivity, safeguarding, and professional standards.
