Introduction to the Role
Are you a recent graduate looking for your foot in the door of an exciting, fast-growing company? This is it.
The Travel Assistant role is the entry point into our Sales and Customer Experience department and the first step on our front-line career path. No travel industry experience is needed: you will be trained from day one across our three core areas, Sales, Customer Experience and Resort Support, with close support and shadowing from your Travel Specialist and Travel Consultant colleagues along the way.
It is a genuinely varied, hands-on role. You will speak to a wide range of customers across all our brands, from families and couples to corporate clients and students, and get real exposure to how a specialist travel business runs behind the scenes. For someone eager to learn and get stuck in, this is a role where you can quickly become an integral part of the team, and there is a clear path from here to Travel Specialist.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
