Reservations Agent
Required for this luxury DMC based in the Midlands. They are looking for a reservations agent, ideally with another DMC or inbound travel company, but they would consider an outbound travel consultant with a passion for the UK. To sell luxury FIT UK travel itineraries to USA customer via the US based travel agents. Office, hybrid or homebased is fine up to £33,000 but may go higher, great bonus scheme, 22 days holidays, pension, discounted travel etc.
Reservations Agents Duties
- Dealing with inbound enquiries for the UK from US based travel agencies whose clients are looking for something far beyond the usual tourist trail. You could be booking couples, families, discerning travellers, etc.
- Crafting amazing itineraries, every one different, booking hotels, transfers, experiences, private guides, tickets, dining, and so much more.
- Managing the full process from first contact, itinerary planning, pricing, proposal, follow up, close, securing deposit before handing it over to operations.
- Working closely with the operations team on live bookings.

Reservations Agents Skills Required
- Reservations experience in travel is a must, ideally for a DMC or inbound tour operator. They will consider an outbound travel consultant with a passion for the UK.
- Happy to look at office based, hybrid or homebased.
- Target driven, motivated to give the best possible service at all times.

Additional Information
- After 4 weeks training, accommodation and transport paid for if you are not local. They are open to office based with Fridays working from home and homebased with a trip to the office every couple of weeks for a day. Office based in Telford.
- 22 days holidays plus bank holidays, amazing bonus scheme, pension, and discounted holidays.
- Standard hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, but there is flexibility to start late and finish late.
