Travel Consultant

Travel Consultant required for an exciting Adventure Tour company who sell group and personal adventure tours. You will have a passion for adventure travel, a wealth of first-hand travel knowledge and experience working in travel sales including selling flights. Hybrid, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office in South London. 28/35k base salary, in the first year around 5k comm, uncapped and will increase.

Travel Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert knowledge of worldwide destinations and tours
  • Inspire customers with enthusiasm for their adventure holidays
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maximise sales opportunities, striving to achieve, and surpass set KPI’s /sales targets
  • Act as the point of contact for customers after bookings
  • Handle all pre-departure queries efficiently and professionally

Travel Consultant Skills and Experience:

  • Sound geographical knowledge
  • Personal travel experience to a minimum of 3 continents
  • Sales experience is essential within travel
  • A passion for activity/adventure trip enthusiast

  • Basic Salary is £28,000/£35,000 plus excellent commission with no cap or maximum amount that can be earned. The more bookings the more commission!
  • Hybrid
  • Shifts 9-6 Monday to Friday, one Saturday per month 10am to 4pm, with a day off the following week
  • 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension etc
