Travel Consultant Assistant
Location: United Kingdom
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Job Overview We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Travel Consultant Assistant to support travel consultants with day-to-day travel planning, customer enquiries, bookings, and administrative tasks.
This role is suitable for individuals who are passionate about travel and interested in developing a career in the travel and tourism industry. Previous travel industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist travel consultants with researching and planning holidays, tours, and travel arrangements.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information about travel options.
- Assist with flight, hotel, transport, and activity bookings.
- Prepare travel itineraries, quotations, and supporting documentation.
- Research destinations, travel products, accommodation, and activities.
- Update customer records, booking information, and travel documents.
- Assist with changes, cancellations, and other customer requests.
- Communicate with hotels, airlines, tour operators, and travel suppliers when required.
- Support the preparation of travel proposals and promotional materials.
- Monitor booking details, deadlines, and travel requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure customer information is handled appropriately.
- Provide general administrative support to the travel consultancy team.
- Stay informed about travel destinations, products, and industry developments.

- Good communication and customer service skills.
