Travel Consultant Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an organized, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Travel Consultant Assistant to support our travel consultants in planning and coordinating travel arrangements. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build experience in travel sales, tourism, customer service, and travel operations.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Assist Travel Consultants with preparing travel itineraries, quotations, and customized travel packages.
- Research destinations, flights, hotels, tours, activities, and travel products based on customer requirements.
- Support flight, hotel, transportation, tour, and activity reservations.
- Assist with booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and documentation.
- Communicate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel suppliers, and other partners.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide basic information about travel arrangements under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles, booking records, itineraries, and travel documentation.
- Assist with preparing invoices, payment records, quotations, and sales documentation.
- Monitor booking status, travel schedules, and itinerary changes.
- Support customers and consultants in resolving routine booking or travel-related issues.
- Assist with promotional campaigns, travel packages, and seasonal offers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of destinations, travel products, promotions, and industry developments.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the travel team.

✅ Requirements
- Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, customer service, sales, or administration is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong interest in travel, tourism, and destination planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple bookings, requests, and deadlines accurately.
- Customer-focused attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and online booking platforms.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems or GDS platforms is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or public holidays when required.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Travel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
