Weโ€™re looking for a friendly, organised, and detail-oriented Travel Consultant Assistant to support our travel consultants with customer enquiries, travel research, bookings, documentation, and day-to-day travel coordination.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, tourism, customer service, and travel planning, and who wants to build a long-term career within the travel industry.

๐ŸŽฏ Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Travel Consultants with day-to-day customer enquiries and travel arrangements
  • Research destinations, flights, hotels, tours, activities, transfers, and travel experiences
  • Assist with preparing personalised travel itineraries and holiday proposals
  • Support the booking process and coordinate reservations with travel suppliers
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel suppliers, and destination partners
  • Assist with booking confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and customer requests
  • Prepare travel documents, booking confirmations, vouchers, itineraries, and customer information
  • Maintain accurate customer records, booking details, and CRM information
  • Monitor booking status, availability, deadlines, and outstanding customer requirements
  • Respond to routine customer enquiries and escalate complex requests to Travel Consultants when necessary
  • Assist with follow-ups, quotations, availability checks, and travel options
  • Support Travel Consultants in preparing quotes and comparing travel products and pricing
  • Assist with special requests such as transfers, activities, room preferences, dietary requirements, and other customer needs
  • Maintain supplier information, destination resources, promotional materials, and internal databases
  • Support email marketing, customer communications, promotions, and travel campaigns where required
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to bookings, payments, invoices, and documentation
  • Monitor travel industry updates, destination information, seasonal promotions, and travel trends
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the travel team

๐Ÿค Customer Support

  • Provide friendly and professional support to customers throughout the travel planning process
  • Respond promptly to customer questions and requests
  • Ensure customer information and booking details are accurate and up to date
  • Help customers understand travel arrangements, schedules, and booking information
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and attention to detail
  • Build positive relationships with customers and travel partners

๐ŸŒ Travel Research & Planning

  • Research destinations and identify suitable travel options based on customer requirements
  • Compare flights, accommodation, tours, activities, and other travel services
  • Maintain up-to-date destination knowledge and travel product information
  • Assist in creating travel itineraries and recommendations
  • Research seasonal offers, promotions, and new travel products
  • Support consultants with information needed to create personalised travel experiences

๐Ÿ“‹ Administration & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate booking and customer records
  • Organise digital files, travel documents, supplier information, and internal records
  • Track outstanding tasks, customer requests, confirmations, and deadlines
  • Assist with reports, spreadsheets, CRM updates, and team administration
  • Coordinate information between customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Ensure all booking and customer documentation is completed accurately and on time

โœ… Requirements

  • Entry-Level / Junior / Assistant with 0โ€“2+ years of experience
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong interest in travel, tourism, holidays, and customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and helpful attitude
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good research and information-gathering abilities
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, email, and CRM systems
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems or GDS platforms is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of destinations, airlines, hotels, tours, or travel products is advantageous
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop within the travel industry
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
