We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Travel Consultant to help customers plan and arrange holidays, business trips, and memorable travel experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, enjoys helping customers, and has excellent communication, sales, and organisational skills.
As a Travel Consultant, you’ll understand customers’ travel needs, recommend suitable options, manage bookings, and provide professional support throughout the customer journey.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to understand their travel preferences, requirements, budgets, and schedules
- Recommend suitable destinations, flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, activities, and travel experiences
- Create personalised itineraries and travel packages based on customer requirements
- Provide accurate information on destinations, pricing, availability, travel conditions, and booking policies
- Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, chat, and other support channels
- Process new bookings, amendments, cancellations, and travel arrangements accurately
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise companies, attractions, and other travel suppliers
- Prepare and provide booking confirmations, itineraries, travel documents, and destination information
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the booking and travel process
- Identify relevant additional products and services to enhance customers’ travel experiences
- Handle customer concerns and travel-related issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate customer profiles, booking records, and communication notes
- Follow company procedures and relevant travel industry requirements
- Stay informed about destinations, travel trends, seasonal offers, entry requirements, and new travel products
- Support sales and marketing initiatives and contribute to customer satisfaction and commercial targets
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Travel Trade teams when required

âś… Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior / Associate (0–3+ years of experience)
- Previous experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, customer service, sales, or a related field is a plus
- Genuine interest in travel, tourism, and hospitality
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent listening, consultation, and communication abilities
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries, bookings, and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems, booking platforms, email, and office productivity tools
- Familiarity with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport, or similar travel booking systems is a plus
- Knowledge of UK and international destinations is advantageous
- Previous sales, upselling, or travel product experience is a plus
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
