🛠️ We’re Hiring: Travel Consultant

📍 Remote (United Kingdom)
🕒 Full-Time
💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate
💰 Base Salary: £3,000+ per month

We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Travel Consultant to help customers plan and book memorable travel experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, destinations, customer service, and travel planning, and who enjoys understanding customers’ needs and creating personalised holidays, trips, and travel experiences.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and personalised travel advice to customers
  • Understand customer requirements, preferences, budgets, and travel plans
  • Recommend suitable destinations, holidays, tours, flights, accommodation, transfers, and travel experiences
  • Create and present tailored travel itineraries and holiday packages
  • Handle customer enquiries through email, phone, online channels, and other communication platforms
  • Assist customers throughout the booking process, from initial enquiry through to confirmation
  • Make reservations and coordinate flights, hotels, tours, transfers, attractions, and other travel services
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel suppliers, and other industry partners
  • Provide accurate information regarding destinations, travel arrangements, schedules, and available services
  • Manage booking changes, amendments, cancellations, and customer requests
  • Maintain accurate customer records, booking information, and internal documentation
  • Follow up with customers to provide updates, recommendations, and additional travel options
  • Identify suitable upgrades, add-ons, and additional travel services where appropriate
  • Support sales targets and contribute to overall business and customer satisfaction goals
  • Stay up to date with destination information, travel trends, seasonal offers, promotions, and industry developments
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat bookings and referrals

✅ Requirements

  • Entry-Level / Junior / Associate with 0–3+ years of experience
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong passion for travel, tourism, holidays, and customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and confident communication style
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate travel solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries, bookings, and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems, CRM platforms, GDS systems, or similar tools is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of destinations, travel products, airlines, hotels, and tour operators is advantageous
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
