🛠️ We’re Hiring: Travel Consultant 📍 Remote (United Kingdom) 🕒 Full-Time 💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate 💰 Base Salary: £3,000+ per month

We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Travel Consultant to help customers plan, organise, and book memorable holidays and travel experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, tourism, destinations, customer service, and travel planning, and who enjoys understanding customers’ needs and creating personalised travel solutions.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and personalised travel advice to customers
  • Understand customer preferences, interests, budgets, travel dates, and requirements
  • Recommend suitable destinations, holidays, tours, flights, accommodation, transfers, attractions, and travel experiences
  • Create tailored travel itineraries and holiday packages based on individual customer needs
  • Handle customer enquiries through phone, email, online channels, and other communication platforms
  • Guide customers throughout the travel planning and booking process
  • Make and manage reservations for flights, hotels, tours, transfers, attractions, and other travel services
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel suppliers, destination management companies, and other industry partners
  • Compare travel options, availability, pricing, and promotional offers to provide suitable recommendations
  • Provide accurate information regarding destinations, travel arrangements, schedules, booking conditions, and travel services
  • Follow up with customers to provide updates, alternative options, and additional recommendations
  • Manage booking changes, amendments, cancellations, special requests, and customer concerns
  • Maintain accurate customer records, booking details, documentation, and CRM information
  • Identify appropriate opportunities for upgrades, additional services, and relevant travel products
  • Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat bookings and referrals
  • Support sales targets and contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Stay up to date with destinations, travel products, seasonal promotions, travel trends, and industry developments

🤝 Customer Service & Sales

  • Deliver a professional, friendly, and personalised customer experience
  • Build trust and understand each customer's individual travel objectives
  • Recommend travel solutions that balance customer expectations, budget, and overall value
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions and requests
  • Follow up with prospective customers and assist them in making informed booking decisions
  • Develop strong relationships that encourage customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Support promotional campaigns and seasonal travel offers

🌍 Destination & Travel Knowledge

  • Develop strong knowledge of popular domestic and international destinations
  • Keep informed about hotels, airlines, tour operators, attractions, cruises, transfers, and travel experiences
  • Research emerging destinations and changing traveller preferences
  • Understand seasonal travel patterns and destination-specific opportunities
  • Provide practical recommendations based on customer interests, travel style, and budget

✅ Requirements

  • Entry-Level / Junior / Associate with 0–3+ years of experience
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong passion for travel, tourism, holidays, and customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Friendly, professional, and confident communication style
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Good sales and commercial awareness
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate travel solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries, bookings, and deadlines
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems, CRM platforms, GDS systems, or similar tools is a plus
  • Good knowledge of destinations, airlines, hotels, tour operators, or travel products is advantageous
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
