We are looking for a creative, organised, and travel-focused Travel Content Creator with an interest in destinations, tourism, travel experiences, social media, and digital content.

In this role, you will create engaging travel-related content designed to inspire audiences, introduce destinations, highlight travel experiences, and communicate useful information about holidays, accommodation, attractions, activities, and tourism products.

You will have the opportunity to create a variety of travel content, including destination guides, travel articles, social media posts, short-form videos, travel tips, destination highlights, accommodation features, attraction content, seasonal travel content, travel trends, and other travel-related digital materials.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, photography, video, writing, social media, destination research, storytelling, and discovering new places, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Research destinations, attractions, travel experiences, and tourism products.
  • Create engaging travel-related content for digital platforms.
  • Develop destination guides, travel tips, travel recommendations, and informative content.
  • Create written content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and other digital channels.
  • Assist with creating short-form travel videos and visual content.
  • Develop social media posts featuring destinations, attractions, hotels, activities, and travel experiences.
  • Research current travel trends, popular destinations, and emerging tourism interests.
  • Identify interesting travel topics and potential content opportunities.
  • Create content that is informative, engaging, and easy for audiences to understand.
  • Organise travel information, images, video ideas, captions, and other content resources.
  • Write engaging captions, titles, descriptions, and promotional copy where required.
  • Assist with content calendars and scheduling of travel-related posts.
  • Monitor audience engagement and identify content that performs well.
  • Keep travel information accurate, relevant, and up to date.
  • Support seasonal travel campaigns and destination-focused content projects.
  • Collaborate with marketing, travel, tourism, and content teams where appropriate.
  • Complete assigned content projects accurately and within the required timeframe.

Travel Content Creators may also support social media and digital marketing activities.

Your work may include:

  • Creating travel-focused social media posts.
  • Developing short-form video ideas.
  • Writing captions and engaging descriptions.
  • Researching relevant travel topics and trends.
  • Preparing destination-focused content.
  • Creating content calendars.
  • Supporting seasonal campaigns.
  • Repurposing travel content across different digital platforms.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve audience engagement.
  • Keeping up to date with changing social media formats and content trends.
  • Supporting the development of a consistent travel content style.

Experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, or similar digital platforms is advantageous but not essential.

This is a remote position with flexible working arrangements.

Daily content-related tasks can be completed using a:
