🛠️ We’re Hiring: Travel Content Creator

📍 Remote (United Kingdom)

🕒 Full-Time

💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate

💰 Base Salary: £3,000+ per month

We’re looking for a creative, passionate, and trend-aware Travel Content Creator to develop engaging content that inspires travellers and promotes destinations, travel experiences, tourism products, and travel brands.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, storytelling, social media, photography, videography, and digital content, and who enjoys turning travel ideas into compelling content that connects with audiences and drives engagement.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging travel content for social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop content around destinations, holidays, tours, attractions, hotels, experiences, travel tips, and industry trends
  • Produce short-form videos, Reels, TikToks, Stories, articles, travel guides, captions, and other digital content
  • Develop creative concepts, content ideas, scripts, storyboards, captions, and campaign themes
  • Plan and maintain travel-focused social media content calendars
  • Research destinations, travel trends, viral topics, audience interests, and competitor content
  • Create destination guides, travel itineraries, travel tips, travel stories, and inspirational content
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, tourism partners, travel suppliers, influencers, and external creative teams
  • Coordinate photography, videography, user-generated content, influencer content, and other visual assets
  • Adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, and other relevant platforms
  • Support influencer, creator, affiliate, PR, and social media campaigns
  • Monitor content performance, reach, engagement, traffic, leads, and conversions
  • Use analytics and audience insights to improve content strategy and campaign performance
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, travel trends, and emerging content formats
  • Maintain organised libraries of photos, videos, graphics, copy, templates, and other marketing assets
  • Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, brand-consistent, and aligned with campaign objectives

📱 Content & Social Media

  • Develop creative content strategies for different audiences and travel markets
  • Create platform-specific content rather than simply reposting the same material across channels
  • Identify trending formats, sounds, topics, hashtags, and storytelling opportunities
  • Write engaging captions, headlines, hooks, scripts, and calls to action
  • Support community engagement by monitoring comments, messages, mentions, and audience feedback
  • Encourage user-generated content and develop opportunities for travellers and creators to share their experiences

🎥 Creative Production

  • Assist with planning and producing travel photography and video content
  • Edit short-form videos and social media assets using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms
  • Work with photographers, videographers, influencers, and content partners when required
  • Organise and maintain digital content libraries and creative assets
  • Ensure visual content meets brand guidelines and campaign requirements

📊 Performance & Growth

  • Track content performance across social media and digital channels
  • Analyse engagement, reach, audience growth, website traffic, and conversion metrics
  • Identify high-performing content and develop ideas for future campaigns
  • Test different content formats, topics, messaging, and publishing strategies
  • Prepare regular content performance reports and recommendations

✅ Requirements

  • Entry-Level / Junior / Associate with 0–3+ years of experience
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Tourism, Travel, Content Creation, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong passion for travel, storytelling, social media, and digital content
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities
  • Creative eye for photography, video, visual composition, and digital trends
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar content creation tools is a plus
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics, SEO, digital marketing, and audience growth
  • Strong awareness of current social media trends and content formats
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple content projects and campaigns simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • A portfolio, personal social media account, travel blog, YouTube/TikTok channel, or examples of previous content is advantageous
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
