🛠️ We’re Hiring: Travel Content Creator 📍 Remote (United Kingdom) 🕒 Full-Time 💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate 💰 Base Salary: £3,000+ per month
We’re looking for a creative, passionate, and trend-aware Travel Content Creator to develop engaging content that inspires travellers and promotes destinations, travel experiences, and tourism products. This role is ideal for someone who loves travel, storytelling, social media, photography, video, and digital content, and who can turn travel ideas and experiences into compelling content that connects with audiences across multiple platforms.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging travel content for social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, and digital campaigns
- Develop content around destinations, holidays, tours, attractions, hotels, experiences, and travel trends
- Produce short-form videos, reels, TikToks, stories, articles, guides, captions, and other digital content
- Develop creative concepts, storyboards, scripts, captions, and content plans
- Manage and maintain travel-focused social media content calendars
- Research destinations, travel trends, viral topics, audience interests, and competitor content
- Create inspiring destination guides, travel tips, itineraries, travel stories, and promotional content
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, travel suppliers, tourism organisations, and external creative partners
- Coordinate photography, videography, user-generated content, influencer content, and other visual assets
- Adapt content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and websites
- Support influencer, creator, affiliate, PR, and social media campaigns
- Monitor content performance, audience engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions
- Use analytics and audience insights to improve content strategy and performance
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, travel trends, and emerging content formats
- Maintain organised libraries of images, videos, graphics, copy, and other marketing assets
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, brand-consistent, and suitable for the target audience

✅ Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior / Associate with 0–3+ years of experience
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Tourism, Travel, Content Creation, or a related field is a plus
- Strong passion for travel, storytelling, social media, and digital content
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities
- Creative eye for photography, video, visual composition, and digital trends
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar content creation tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of social media analytics, SEO, and digital marketing is advantageous
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and audience behaviour
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- A portfolio, social media account, personal travel blog, or examples of previous content is advantageous
- Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
