We are looking for a creative, organised, and travel-focused Travel Content Creator with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, social media, and digital storytelling.
In this role, you will research destinations and travel experiences and create engaging content that helps audiences discover new places, travel ideas, holiday experiences, attractions, accommodation options, and tourism products.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel content, including destination guides, travel tips, social media posts, travel articles, short-form videos, destination highlights, hotel and accommodation features, local experiences, seasonal travel content, travel trends, and other travel-related digital materials.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, writing, photography, video, social media, destination research, storytelling, and discovering new places, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.
π― Key Responsibilities
- Research destinations, attractions, accommodation, activities, and travel experiences.
- Create engaging and informative travel-related content.
- Develop destination guides, travel tips, travel recommendations, and travel inspiration.
- Create written content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and other digital channels.
- Assist with creating short-form travel videos and visual content.
- Develop social media posts featuring destinations, attractions, hotels, activities, and experiences.
- Research current travel trends, popular destinations, and emerging tourism interests.
- Identify interesting travel topics and potential content opportunities.
- Write engaging captions, titles, descriptions, and travel-related copy.
- Organise travel information, images, video ideas, captions, and other content resources.
- Assist with content calendars and scheduling travel-related posts.
- Monitor audience engagement and identify content opportunities.
- Keep travel information accurate, relevant, and up to date.
- Support seasonal travel campaigns and destination-focused content projects.
- Collaborate with marketing, travel, tourism, and content teams where appropriate.
- Complete assigned content projects accurately and within the required timeframe.

π± Social Media & Digital Content
Travel Content Creators may also support social media and digital marketing activities.
Your work may include:
- Creating travel-focused social media posts.
- Developing short-form video ideas.
- Writing captions and engaging descriptions.
- Researching relevant travel topics and trends.
- Preparing destination-focused content.
- Supporting content calendars and publishing schedules.
- Supporting seasonal travel campaigns.
- Repurposing travel content across different digital platforms.
- Identifying opportunities to improve audience engagement.
- Keeping up to date with changing social media formats and content trends.
- Supporting the development of a consistent travel content style.
Experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, or similar digital platforms would be an advantage but is not essential.
π· Photography & Video Content
Depending on the content project, you may also have opportunities to work with visual travel content.
This may include:
- Travel photography
- Destination photography
- Short-form videos
- Travel reels
- Destination walkthroughs

- Visual storytelling
You do not need to be a professional photographer or videographer to apply. An interest in creating visual content and willingness to learn new tools and techniques are more important.

No previous professional content creation experience is required.
