Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Travel Customer Service professional to assist customers with travel enquiries, bookings, reservations, and general travel-related support.
The successful candidate will communicate with customers through various channels, resolve enquiries efficiently, and help ensure a smooth and positive travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries through phone, email, live chat, or other support channels.
- Assist customers with travel bookings, reservations, amendments, and cancellations.
- Provide accurate information about flights, hotels, tours, destinations, and travel services.
- Help customers resolve booking and travel-related issues.
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers when required.
- Maintain accurate customer records and booking information.
- Follow up on customer requests and outstanding enquiries.
- Provide clear guidance on travel arrangements, policies, and procedures.
- Escalate complex complaints or issues to the appropriate team.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service processes.
- Keep up to date with travel products, destinations, and relevant industry information.

Requirements
- Interest in travel, tourism, hospitality, or customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple customer enquiries efficiently.
- Good computer and digital communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous customer service, travel, tourism, or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of UK and international travel destinations.
- Familiarity with booking, reservation, CRM, or customer support systems.
- Experience handling customer enquiries through phone, email, or live chat.
- Knowledge of airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, or holiday packages.
- Good complaint-handling and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience in a travel or tourism environment is advantageous.
