We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Travel Customer Service Representative with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, and customer service.
In this role, you will assist customers with travel-related enquiries, provide clear and relevant information, and support customers throughout different stages of their travel planning and booking experience.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel-related products and services, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, city breaks, outdoor activities, themed travel experiences, seasonal travel products, and other travel-related services.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, communication, problem-solving, destination research, and helping customers, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.
π― Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide relevant travel information.
- Understand customer questions, preferences, travel dates, budgets, and general requirements.
- Provide clear information regarding destinations, accommodation, attractions, activities, and travel products.
- Assist customers in understanding different travel options and services.
- Help customers compare available travel products based on their needs.
- Support customers throughout the travel planning and decision-making process.
- Provide accurate and easy-to-understand information to customers.
- Respond to customer questions through appropriate communication channels.
- Follow up with customers regarding enquiries, requested information, and travel-related matters.
- Assist with booking-related enquiries, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
- Provide alternative options when the original travel choice is unavailable or unsuitable.
- Communicate with relevant team members or travel suppliers when additional information is required.
- Maintain accurate and organised customer and travel-related records.
- Review travel information to ensure that customer responses are accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed about relevant travel products, destinations, seasonal offers, and travel conditions.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and within the required timeframe.
- Complete assigned daily customer service and travel-related tasks accurately.

π€ Customer Service & Customer Support
The role focuses on providing customers with a professional, helpful, and personalised service throughout their travel journey.
Your work may include helping to:
- Understand the individual needs and expectations of different travellers.
- Answer customer questions clearly and professionally.
- Provide relevant travel information based on customer requirements.
- Help customers understand different travel products and services.
- Recommend suitable alternatives when requested options are unavailable.
- Assist customers with general booking-related questions.
- Provide support before, during, and after the travel planning process where applicable.
- Follow up with customers to ensure that their enquiries have been properly addressed.
- Maintain positive and professional customer relationships.
- Communicate important travel information in a simple and understandable way.
- Support customers with general changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
- Escalate complex enquiries to the appropriate team member or travel supplier when necessary.
- Support seasonal travel campaigns and customer communications where relevant.
The main focus of this position is to provide helpful travel-related customer service, understand customer requirements, answer enquiries accurately, and support customers in finding suitable travel information and solutions. The role combines customer service, communication, travel information, problem-solving, and basic knowledge of travel products.

Travel Customer Service Representatives may also support travel companies by staying informed about new products, seasonal offers, destinations, and relevant customer communications.
