Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Travel Data Operations professional to support the management, maintenance, and analysis of travel-related data and operational information. The successful candidate will work with booking, customer, supplier, pricing, and travel performance data to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and available for operational and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organise, and maintain travel-related operational data.
- Review and validate booking, customer, supplier, pricing, and destination information.
- Update databases, spreadsheets, and internal travel systems.
- Monitor data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify data discrepancies and coordinate corrections where required.
- Support reporting on bookings, travel activity, revenue, and operational performance.
- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and data summaries.
- Work with travel, operations, finance, marketing, and customer service teams.
- Assist with data reconciliation and routine quality checks.
- Monitor operational data and identify trends or potential issues.
- Support improvements to data processes and reporting workflows.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and records.
- Assist with ad hoc data and operational projects as required.

Requirements
- Interest in travel, tourism, data, business operations, or analytics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and databases.
- Good Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve data-related issues.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous data, operations, travel, or administrative experience is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CRM, booking, reservation, or travel management systems.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying is advantageous.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools is beneficial.
- Knowledge of travel booking, reservations, pricing, or supplier data.
- Understanding of data quality and data management principles.
- Experience working with travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, airlines, or tourism businesses is advantageous.
