Description

The job holder will be responsible for:

  • Providing travel health clinic services within the scope of the MASTA & Nomad Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Providing risk assessment, advice, administering vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and other travel-related medicines within the framework of MASTA/Nomad Patient Group Directions.
  • Managing CQC requirements.
  • Utilising our internal e-clinic software to provide up-to-date information and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Ensuring good communication within the clinical team and a safe environment for the delivery of clinical services in MASTA/Nomad clinics.

Essential Skills:

  • Registered Nurse with experience in vaccinations and travel health.
  • Personal experience of travel and an interest in travel medicine is beneficial.
  • An understanding of the regulatory and governance frameworks within healthcare.
  • Experience in clinical consultation, vaccine administration, and venepuncture (or willingness to learn).
  • Computer literacy is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team, be enthusiastic, conscientious, well-organised, and have a willingness to learn new skills.
